Even if you stayed at The Old Rectory for a week, you could try a different cooked breakfast every single morning.
Let's start with the Full Cornish - large sausage, dry cured Cornish bacon and Hog's Pudding all provided by our local butcher, our fresh free range eggs, mushrooms and home-grown tomatoes, peppers and courgettes (in season).
We offer 4 types of locally smoked fish, including salmon, kipper and local trout and mackerel. Enjoy with your choice of eggs and vegetables.
For a lighter breakfast why not try the Cornish Rarebit - our local extra mature cheddar, mixed with egg and served on toast. Or French Toast, served savoury with Cornish bacon, or sweet honey and cinnamon.
On the side, you can help yourself to fruit juices, cereals, home-grown fresh or compote fruit, organic local natural yoghurt and brown and white bread to make toast just the way you like it.
We usually serve breakfasts from 8:30-10am. Sally is on hand to recommend top spots to visit so you make the most of your time here.
Guests have plenty of choices of where to eat within a short drive. Another favourite is to walk down the beautiful Valency valley to Boscastle to eat and either walk back or get the local taxi.
Please contact us in advance if you would like advice on places to eat in Boscastle or we can arrange it when you arrive.
